For the great majority of my life, exercise and movement have played a significant role. From before I can remember, I was enrolled in gymnastics and fell in love with it. It consumed most of my time during my elementary and middle school years of life. Although it wasn't an easy decison, I decided in my later teen years to stop practicing gymnastics and transfered my energies to running, weightlifting, and learning more about nutrition.

Like countless others, I have experienced seasons in my life where exercise was placed on a back burner. It wasn't that is was no longer important - I just had other things fighting for my time and attention. These "distractions" were also important - children, family, schooling, jobs... you get the picture. Despite my reasons for not taking care of my body, I was ignoring what I needed to thrive and enable me to feel better so I could be more effective in the other areas of my life.

I learned meeting fitness goals does not mean having to spend hours on end in the gym. It's about making wiser food choices, the exercises you do, and adopting a positive mindset about health and fitness. Whether you need help in knowing what workouts to do, how to fuel your body with healthy food choices, or could benefit from more accountability, I would love to help guide you on your journey.
